MDC CareerDay 2017

The MDC CareerDay is aimed at PhD students and postdocs carrying out biomedical research at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and the Leibniz Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) at the Berlin Buch campus, as well as early-career researchers from Berlin's Excellence Universities (Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin), Max Planck Institutes and other life science research institutions.

This one-day information and networking event offers a range of opportunities to help young scientists plan their careers. At a time of increased competition in global markets for research positions and funding, it is important that they start to plan their career in a timely and well-informed manner. The MDC CareerDay offers information about jobs, career alternatives and funding opportunities through the exchange of information between experts from both academia and industry. It gives participants the chance to obtain answers to their crucial career questions directly from professionals.

The next MDC CareerDay is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the MDC conference center, MDC.C, in Berlin Buch.
