Ludwig Hoffmann Quartier

Ludwig Hoffmann Quartier

The former convalescent home is one of the five major hospitals and patient care institutions, which Ludwig Hoffmann designed for the Buch location at the beginning of the 20th century. Avenues, extensive green spaces and garden courtyards give the heritage-protected ensemble an ambience of spaciousness and a clear structure. Besides representative, almost palatial buildings, there are also residential buildings in country house style. Moreover, modern, functional buildings and areas for the construction of new buildings are available. Around two thirds of all individual projects, including 500 apartments, schools, daycare centers, childcare facilities and a sports hall, have already been handed over and are in use. After the planned completion, 1,000 apartments will have been built in the Ludwig Hoffmann Quartier.
